(DCI) is a nonprofit organization committed to revitalizing Downtown Chambersburg as a thriving center of commerce, culture, and community life. The Spring Street Amphitheatre is owned and operated by Downtown Chambersburg Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization 59 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA. It is a community space designed to foster connection, creativity, and civic engagement. All use must align with standards of safety, respect, and shared responsibility. Reservations & Fees • Reservations are confirmed upon approval and required payment. • 50% deposit due at approval; remaining balance due 30 days prior (non-refundable). • Security deposit may be required for damages or cleanup. Insurance Proof of general liability insurance may be required, listing DCI as additionally insured. Waivers may be granted for small community events. Use of Space • Events must follow approved times and local noise ordinances. • Renters are responsible for cleanup and any damages. • Safety requirements, including emergency access, must be maintained. • Food and alcohol require proper licensing and prior approval. Community Standards Events that promote or incite hatred, discrimination, harassment, or violence are prohibited. The Amphitheater welcomes events that support dialogue, cultural expression, and social progress in a respectful manner. Prohibited Activities • Unauthorized vending or subleasing • Damage or unauthorized modifications to property • Unsafe activities such as skateboarding or parkour • Hate speech and discrimination activities • No overnight use or open flames without written approval. • Food and alcohol sales without prior approval Political Activity (501(c)(3) Compliance As a 501(c)(3) organization, DCI does not permit political campaign activity supporting or opposing candidates. Nonpartisan civic events may be permitted with prior approval. Enforcement DCI reserves the right to deny or revoke use for violations of these terms or applicable laws.
