CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Some downtown businesses are going to seem brighter and more festive, thanks to funds secured by Downtown Chambersburg Inc.

Small-business owners applied for the money, and DCI provided them with access to $3,600 for outdoor lighting and nearly $800 for flower pots to place outside their shops. Among the recipients of lighting funds were Bistro 71, Brussel’s Cafe and Another Man’s Treasure.

“We’re thrilled that we’re going to help beautify the downtown,” said DCI President Sam Thrush.
